Some context

Since I (re)started blogging this fall, I’ve gained some new readers. However, looking at the data, I was suprised to see that I have readers from all over the world. I’m thrilled that you want to follow me and my everyday scribbles, but to make it easier, and more fun for   you, I thought to provide you with a bit more context. Instead of writing an extensive, monotone bio, I scribbled down 10 random facts that pretty much describes my life and personality. Have at it!

I’m a multitasker and find it very hard to say no. Consequently, I’m always busy, juggling ten things at once. Simultaneously, I strive for perfection. Yes, it is very tiring at times, but as I’ve said earlier – being busy gives me energy.

Relating to above, one of the first lessons I learned when I moved to New York was that you can’t say yes to everything and everyone. And even though it was hard declining celebrity parties at first, but we quickly realized that they are just like us. Only richer.

I love to learn new things, both in and out of school. If I’m genuinely interested in subject, I want to learn everything there is to know about it. I’m the kind of person who reads business and PR books for fun. The last one I finished was the 10X Rule by Grant Cardone, and I highly recommend it. I’m a positive person and try to see the good in every situation, even when everything goes south. ( see next point)

I have the weirdest luck. Even though I haven’t been dealt the worst hand in life, I have the worst luck when it comes to everyday occurrences: getting bruised, missing the subway by 1 second, having my umbrella break and other small, annoying stuff, happens to me on a daily basis.

I’m addicted to Diet Coke – it’s an accomplishment if I go a day without having a sip.

Speaking of food (ish); I hate to cook. If I touch a stovetop or baking bowl something usually ends up burnt, undercooked or merely wrong. That said, I’m really good at making salads. And salmon.

I love makeup and can spend hours browsing through Sephora. The amount I spend there is so high, I don’t even dare to think of it…

I have a weird obsession with bags. I can spend hours browsing for the perfect bag, study the shape, leather, stitching and lining. All while ignoring the steep price tag. I’m dreaming of  the day I can by my very own Chanel.

I have no clue where I’ll be in a year, and that scares me to death. New York, Paris, Milan, Copenhagen? I guess time will tell…
