Demonstrations, meetings, and growing up

One of the things I love about New York City, is the people. One of the things I hate about New York City, is the people. Somedays the endless crowds of (over-the-top) personalities is just too much. Like today, when I had to squeeze my way through a labor strike with thousands of people to get to school. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for speaking up, (especially under the current circumstance), but shutting down an entire district because of it – is very overwhelming for people trying to get from A to B.

Now that I got to blow off some steam, let me confirm that things are very good these days. Amongst other things, I had an exciting meeting today that ‘ll tell you more about if it pans out – I’m a true believer in Jinxing; some things just won’t come true if you say them out loud. Thinking it will come true, however, is very important. Other than that I’m working my way through my last semester and exploring opportunities for when I actually graduate  – one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done. Job? Where? What continent? Masters? Or should I work a couple of years first? Trainee? Or maybe just a summer position, and then move in the fall? These are all questions that continuously run through my head. I’m hoping the obvious solution just pops into my mind one of these days.
